Milan’s crisis continued with the defeat against Napoli at the Maradona and it once again highlighted all the fragilities of the squad. They conceded two goals in the first 20 minutes, compromising the match right from the start, a common theme under Conceicao.
Despite a second-half reaction that almost brought a draw, the first half was emblematic of Conceiçao’s management: the wrong approach and a rearguard that seems incapable of withstanding the pressure of the opponents.

The continuous rotation of central defenders has not helped, and the absence of a stable starting pair has compromised the defensive solidity. Theo Hernández and Strahinja Pavlovic are guilty of individual mistakes, Fikayo Tomori has gone missing and the midfield aren’t helping.
