AC Milan have joined the race to sign Wolfsburg midfielder Aster Vranckx but they face competition from three other clubs, a report claims.
Accoding to VoetbalKrant, the 19-year-old has ended up in the sights of the Rossoneri as they look to bolster their midfield ranks. The interest is more than concrete, and this is apparent from the Wolfsburg match squad on Saturday.
They took on Schalke 04 in the Bundesliga and drew 0-0 but Vranckx was not even in the players named on the bench. The week before he was a substitute against Bayern Munich and on the opening day he was on the bench against Werder Bremen.
However, it is not just Milan that have their eye on the former KV Mechelen tarlet because Premier League duo Nottingham Forest and Everton are keen on him and Lille are also in the running. The German club believe that they can fetch €10m from a potential sale of the teenager.
