Reports: Wolves pounce on uncertainty to land €15m Pubill deal – who Milan will turn to

It seems that Marc Pubill will not become the next signing for AC Milan in the summer window, with Wolves having pounced on the uncertainty.

While Milan have made a decisive move for Pervis Estupinan, the left-back who will fill the void left by Theo Hernandez’s departure, there’s further confirmation on the right flank regarding Pubill.

The Almeria star underwent a medical over the weekend to assess the stability of his left knee, which held up a move to Atalanta last summer, but it hasn’t removed the Rossoneri’s remaining doubts, even regarding his technical capabilities.

Pubill heads for Wolves

And so, with Milan going cold, Fabrizio Romano report that Wolverhampton are ready to pounce. The Premier League side have offered €15m plus add-ons and sell-on clause for Pubill and they hope to get the deal done in the next hours to beat the competition from other clubs.

Given this, who will Milan turn to? Well, MilanNews report that Guela Doué’s value is rising sharply, having long been Milan ‘s favorite for the right flank.

The gap with Strasbourg remains significant, but the fact that Igli Tare didn’t travel with the team on tour could be an important signal for this and other negotiations underway at Casa Milan.

  1. Dodo ffs… he’s in his final year, Serie A experience, no significant injury issues – played 90% of the games last season…

    1. 100% it should always have been Dodo, his audition for us last time we faced him, he was the best player on the pitch, if we can get him for €20-25m, we would have the best full backs we have had for a very long time.

This a no-brainer!!!, or go for Denzil Dumfries, or is his clause not available to seria a teams

      1. Unfortunately we all want Dodo which will mean Milan looks elsewhere. Very rare we get the popular choice especially if it means saving a couple million. Plus we the fans want the best players, whereas the board prioritises finances. There’s probably a happy middle ground but for now we have to accept our reality.

I dont think we should overspend on Doue for the record, I’d rather have Dodo if we end up spending 20mn+ for RB.

          1. You still haven’t learned.
            You keep deluding yourself deliberately.

You even broke the golden rule and now you use your own product 😂😂🤣🤣
            Okay oo

  2. 15m + sell on clause. Wow that good deal. Game over for Milan. Time to search another target. We have the talent Vittorio magni from youth sector , why not we try another Brazilian full back ?
