AC Milan are interested in signing Morgan Gibbs-White from Wolves now his loan spell at Sheffield United has expired, according to a report.
Gibbs-White has had a good season on loan with the Blades as he scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists, winning their player of the season award in the process, having occupied a role both as a right-sided player but also as a playmaker and even as a second striker. He helped United get to the play-off semi-finals, where they lost on penalties to Nottingham Forest.
According to The Athletic, Sheffield United would have made ‘a big-money bid’ had they won promotion but now Gibbs-White will ‘want to prove himself at the highest level’, which is where Milan come into the equation.
The Rossoneri ‘lodged a tentative inquiry’ which hasn’t yet gone any further. Wolves boss Bruno Lage must now persuade him his future lies in the their first-team group but if he wants to leave, they will ask for a ’10-figure fee and a hefty sell-on clause’.
They want over a billion?
@Shiva, Lol 😂😆🤣.
I’m also really confused right now Bro.
I don’t really understand the ’10-figure’ stuff of a thing. Maybe they want billions of cash for an unproven player 🤷.
Maybe the article is talking about Monopoly money. They want 1 billion monopoly € for that player. I would say it wanted to say 8 figures, so 10M or more but someone doesn’t know math.
Or Lira currency
The Athletic article says a ’10-figure fee’ (hence why we used the same phrase) but we can take that to mean £10,000,000.00 or above, even though most would call that eight figures.
and here i though i’m the stupid one reading this
