Nicolo Zaniolo only wants to join AC Milan from Roma this month which spells bad news for Spurs, according to reports.
According to SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Milan have not yet made an official offer to Roma for Zaniolo but Tottenham’s chances of landing him are decreasing. The Rossoneri are thinking of proceeding with a €2m loan plus an obligation to buy based in Champions League qualification for a total of €22-23m.
This offer is lower than Tottenham’s, but there are two factors that help Milan: Zaniolo much prefers the idea of moving to the San Siro and the obligation to buy is more achievable than that of Spurs, who face a battle to get top four. However, Roma are holding on and want at least €30m.
Meanwhile, MilanNews report that Zaniolo only wants Milan and hopes to join the Rossoneri in the last few days of the winter transfer market. The Milan management are offering a maximum of €20-22m considering his deal expires in 18 months and his relationship with Roma has broken down.
At the moment there is an economic distance between Milan and Roma, while the capital club will have to decide whether to keep a player who is unhappy or accept the terms offered by the Rossoneri.
What about Leao ?
How we can afford players like Origi, Rebic, Dest, Florenzi, but we don’t have money for Leao?
7,5 million per year is a good wage for Leao.
My opinion is that Milan should’ve sold him already. With the money from his transfer, Milan could bring in players and be complete in each position.
There are so many things to be considered for his renewal other than the money offered. For example, and for the most case, the player’s will. Just look at the H***n case where the salary he received is nearly identical with the offer from Milan. The other case is the agent’s will and interest.
And have we heard Leao explicitly saying that he wanted to continue his path at Milan? Nope. At least ’till now.
Sign the player!!!! He would be a huge upgrade in our offence
Seem like our transfer policy is slowly but steadily to wen we only signed injured prone,overpriced,overpaid salary and old.
This would be a huge mistake. Seriously overrated, selfish and unfit player. I don’t believe Tottenham want him either. That’s probably just his agent putting out rumors. Where would he fit into Tottenham? Kane, Son, Richarlison, Kulusevksy are all miles better than him.
