Tuttosport: Ziyech wants move away from Chelsea – Milan could be his destination

By Oliver Fisher -

Hakim Ziyech is enjoying being a protagonist again at the World Cup with Morocco, and he hopes to be able to secure an exit from Chelsea.

Morocco topped their group ahead of Croatia and Belgium, the latter of whom were eliminated, which is some achievement given that they finished runners-up and third in the last tournament in Russia respectively.

The Moroccan provided an assist in Morocco’s victory over Belgium and scored a goal in the victory over Canada yesterday afternoon, but Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes that there is a paradox regarding his time at club level because he is finding very little playing time.

The former Ajax now does nothing but sit on the bench at Chelsea under Graham Potter just as he did under Thomas Tuchel. The paper adds that for this reason the 29-year-old wants to leave the Blues as early as January and they mention Milan as a potential suitor given their long-standing interest.

  1. This isn’t news this was all ruined by Tuchel Ziyech played anywhere he was asked was on his best form for Chelsea January and February and Tuchel dumped him. Tuchel then got Boehly to inform him he wasn’t wanted and to find a club then denied a move back to Ajax deadline day. Potter could of played him every game but it wouldn’t make a difference the die was cast.
