AC Milan will sign a new striker in the upcoming mercato, and several avenues remain open as the summer approaches. One of the options that the club have been continually interested in is Viktor Gyokeres, and today, his agent has offered an update on his client’s future.
For several years, Milan have been crying out for investment in a future striker, even if Olivier Giroud has consistently delivered a high rate of output. However, with his move to Los Angeles FC all but confirmed, the Rossoneri must invest now.
Several options have been explored, and the prices of their targets are mixed, and the most expensive is Gyokeres. The Swedish striker quickly adjusted to life in Portugal and has been heavily impressive. As a result, the Portuguese club will be bombarded with offers in the summer.
Gyokeres’ agent, Hasan Cetinkaya, spoke to the Portuguese paper Record about the Swede’s future and what could alter his path – his words have been relayed by PianetaMilan.
“It is very important to know the future of Sporting and in particular what will happen with Rúben Amorim. Because we came here thanks to him.
“There are many clubs who want to buy him. But we have to respect Sporting because we chose him and gave them the chance to present their ideas to us. We have not made any decision, nor will we make it now, for this or that club, or to stay. There are eight games left and then we will make a decision, but the future also depends on what happens with Amorim.”
“Sporting is a club that needs to sell. We have to discuss it with the president. We respect him a lot. I can be very direct and say that there are no negotiations regarding a contract renewal.”

His team is playing very attacking football and most importantly creating loads of scoring opportunitiesso, so the striker scores. Will be lucky to have half of those opportunities created for him at Milan. I think he’s good but same level as Davids – a 40M striker.
