Bonaventura equals Robinho’s goalscoring record at AC Milan

Giacomo Bonaventura, who scored the crucial equaliser against Napoli, returned to the scoresheet after more than a year since last time. Furthermore, he also equalled a record in the all-time goalscoring record of the club.

The Italian has recently recovered from a very serious knee injury, which is why we haven’t seen so much of him at the start of the season. The management doesn’t want to risk him and you can understand why.

In the game against Napoli, Bonaventura was fundamental for the Rossoneri. Not only did he score the equaliser, but his presence also seemed to up the overall quality of the team. Thanks to the goal, he has now scored 32 goals in the red and black shirt.

As MilanNews.it highlights, he has equalled the goalscoring record of Robinho, who played for the Rossoneri between 2010 and 2014. Hopefully, the goal is the boost that he needed to bounce back from his struggles, leading the team forward.
