Hakan Calhanoglu decided to leave AC Milan at the end of his contract last summer and signed for city rivals Inter instead. It’s a move that didn’t go down too well with the Rossoneri fans and the Turk has felt that.
Calhanoglu, indeed, didn’t exactly get a warm welcome in the derbies this season as the Milan fans made sure to voice their opinion on him. There were a total of four derbies this season and it ended in one win each, as well as two draws.
Milan got the most important win, though, as they beat Inter 2-1 after the 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture. In other words, the Rossoneri have H2H advantage and Calhanoglu named this as the most painful defeat in an interview with DAZN.
“The most painful defeat? The one against Milan,” he said as cited by MilanNews.
The Rossoneri are currently two points ahead of Calhanoglu and their city rivals, with three games remaining. Two wins and one draw would thus suffice, but a lot can happen in this season finale.
We need to win the scudetto, if not for any reason, to show this cunt that Milan has always been red all along!
