Calhanoglu: “Non-existent penalty, I’m happy with my goal”

By Isak Möller -

Hakan Calhanoglu, who scored Milan’s only goal against Arsenal, spoke to MilanTV about the game.

“We played well and it’s not easy to do it here, we scored and then we got a non-existent penalty against us. it’s not normal in the Europa League.

“Rodriguez didn’t even touch Welbeck but for the referee, it was a penalty. It’s obvious that the call changed the game.”

“We liked the performance, we also showed a good reaction after their first goal. We had chances, we never gave up but this is football. The referee was the man of the match, don’t forget that.

“My goal? I’m very happy, I know I can do like this. Now I need to do this in the league as well.

“Chievo clash? We have to continue like this, it’s important, we need the three points.”
