Di Marzio: AC Milan not looking to sell Donnarumma

By SempreMilan -

After receiving the definitive decision of Donnarumma regarding the renewal yesterday, it was first reported that the Rossoneri would try to sell the youngster. However, new reports suggest otherwise.

Mino Raiola told AC Milan yesterday that his client will not sign the new contract offered by the San Siro side, as he reportedly wants a Real Madrid move.

At first, it seemed Milan would look for buyers so that they wouldn’t lose him for free next summer when his current contract expires. However, Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Milan do not intend to sell the 18-year-old. Instead, they will sign his replacement (most likely Perin) and let Donnarumma “cheer for Real Madrid in the stands”, as said by Corriere Della Sera.

The only team interested in Donnarumma is Real Madrid, who are ready to offer the Rossoneri €25-30m for Donnarumma, which is an amount of money that reportedly doesn’t matter to Milan.

The Curva Sud have more or less demanded that Donnarumma should sit in the stands for a year, instead of being sold abroad.
