Donnarumma still undecided; PSG to pounce?

By SempreMilan -

Gigio’s contract discussions are stalling and it is due to his agent Mino Raiola trying to send him to Real Madrid, according to reports.

Milan are still waiting and will do so until June 13 to hear Donnarumma’s response to their contract offer. Milan have offered the player €4.5m a year, which is a figure higher than what Gianluigi Buffon currently earns. This is absurd considering that this will be Donnarumma’s first long term contract and he is less than half the age of Buffon.

Alberto Cerrutti told Premium Sport that he “knows from Florentino Perez that Mino Raiola has offered Gigio Donnarumma to Real Madrid”.

Mino Raiola was apparently concerned about Milan’s project but it turns out the agent wants to send his client to Madrid.
However, Madrid have recently confirmed Keylor Navas and Kiko Casilla for next season. This means they will not be signing Gigio Donnaruma or Manchester United’s David de Gea. With De Gea staying in Manchester United, it rules them out of the race for Gigio as well. Manchester City have recently signed Ederson for a world record fee for a keeper of €40m, which means they are out of the race as well.

Sky reports that an offer form PSG might come in as their Sporting Director will be in Italy on Monday. It remains to be seen whether Gigio would even be interested in joining them as he’d only want to join Madrid if he leaves Milan according to Sky.
