From Spain: Marseille star has verbal agreement to join Milan next summer

By Nikita Fesyukov -

The summer transfer market came to an end several days ago, but the AC Milan management remains vigilant and are seeking all the possible opportunities that could help strengthen the squad at Stefano Pioli’s disposal.

This morning we informed you of Tuttosport‘s report about the budget that the management has allocated for the January transfer market, but reportedly Maldini and Massara are thinking as far as the next summer transfer session.

Towards the end of the last transfer campaign, there were many rumours, both in France and Italy, linking the Rossoneri to Marseille’s Florian Thauvin, whose contract at the French club expires at the end of the season.

Now, confirmations have also arrived from Spain, in particular, Todofijaches.com, who add that Thauvin has a verbal agreement with Milan to join the club next summer on a free transfer.

The source also reports that Marseille tried to renew the attacker’s contract on numerous occasions, but Thauvin refused every time and seems to be eager to join the Rossoneri for the next season.

  1. This would be a solid signing…hope we can get him in January for very little than waiting for summer…need to qualify for CL and may not be able to wait till summer for help on RW…

Missed out on Tobido – went to Benfica on a 2 year loan w option to buy at 20M? Seems like a missed opportunity. Hope Kajer and Romagnolli stay healthy until January and we can pick up a CB…
