GdS: Probable Milan XI to face Juventus – Adli and Florenzi from start

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will take on Juventus tomorrow evening and Stefano Pioli will make quite a few changes to the starting XI. There are some absences to consider, of course, but there should be five changes.

Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez will both miss out on the game due to suspension, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek has failed to recover in time. Antonio Mirante will be the starting goalkeeper, as Marco Sportiello also is injured.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (see featured image), Alessandro Florenzi will be the starting left-back, while the midfield will remain the same. There will be a completely new attack, though, with Christian Pulisic, Olivier Girouf and Rafael Leao.

Probable Milan XI (4-3-3): Mirante; Calabria, Thiaw, Tomori, Florenzi; Musah, Adli, Reijnders; Pulisic, Giroud, Leao.

Of course, this is not a ‘new’ attack but Pioli fielded another trio against Genoa last time out. He will be hoping for some more end product from his starters this time out after being forced to sub on the stars in the 1-0 win against the Grifone.
