Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah could be available for as little as €20 million this summer but AC Milan are now being rivalled by Inter, a report claims.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), the American midfielder’s price only seems to be coming down due to the financial difficulties that Valencia are in.
The Spanish side needs to offload players for transfer fees and whilst they originally wanted €30m for Musah, they are now asking for €25m. Milan are convinced that Valencia would accept a bid of €20m.
Milan are not the only Italian team in the race, though, as Inter are said to be interested in Musah who actually holds an Italian passport and would not take up a non-EU slot in the squad.
He was particularly impressive during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar for the American national team and it sparked lots of interest.

I want to understand why the whole transfer is taking so long when it’s not free, these are transfers which should have been concluded as the players recognised are players to strengthen the squad I don’t see the issue of waiting and waiting. I continue to say RLC is a waste of funds cus I fail to see what he will offer this team
Musah played well in the WC. He stood out for the USA. I do not recall if he played in a 4-3-3 or double pivot. Admittedly haven’t seen him play at Valencia to form an educated opinion on whether that translates into him being a solid weekly contributor. But he’s young so lots of time to still develop potentially. 25-30M however seems a bit much from what other members of this forum who have seen him play say and that he’s only 20 yrs old.
The question is: if he struggles his first season with us at the ripe old age of 20 – will Furlani be sacked and will the Redbird lovers blame Furlani for spending a large chuck of our transfer budget on him (you know similar to CDK?) or does he get a pass?? Sound familiar?

CDK cost 35m euro and play awful on euro u21 . Yunus only 20m euro ( according to that article) . Both have different job , CDK job score goal or asist ( he is failed with 0 goal from 1450++ minute) . Yunus job are to help defense & provide cover if LB / RB help atack , box to box player. Some ppl here say give CDK one more season because his first season , then origi deserve one more season too ? 35m euro for italian club are just like 100m euro for EPL club . If only that 56m euro last season use wisely signing Amrabat 30-40m euro & dybala free ,that will solve our problem in DMF and we dont need to sell tonali because we dont need RLC & yunus since tonali – amrabat are good pairing with back up krunic,pobega ,bennacer ( injured)
I think we should all leave CDK alone, he did not set his sale price and he picked us over others.

If there is competition for the player then it is difficult to negotiate and lower the price to the one that suits you ! If they think that he is a player for the future, and that he has all the qualities for the club, the only solution is ” Here we go ” !

This is always what happens with Milan. They drag out every negotiation until some other team comes in and grabs the player. The only players Milan can sign are players that no other team wants. It’s almost as if these teams let Milan do the scouting, see who they like, then come in and offer a little bit more. Milan will regret it if they lose this player to Inter. He has a big upside.
