Mediaset: Milan working undercover to sign Spain star; competition from Chelsea, Man Utd

By Madison Derian-Toth -

AC Milan director Zvonomir Boban is working under wraps on a deal which would see Dani Olmo complete a move to the Rossoneri, a report claims.

Having been linked with Olmo for months, Sportske dropped a huge bombshell on Wednesday night when they reported that Milan have launched a €30m offer for the Spain U21 star.

They added that Dinamo are willing to sell for that price, and that Olmo and his entourage also keen on the move, meaning a deal could be done ‘soon’.

The player’s agent dropped a cryptic hint that developments were happening as he refused to comment on the speculation, stating: “For now I would not like to comment on anything.”

However, Mirko Barisic cooled the enthusiasm surrounding a possible move to Milan during an interview with TMW, at least for the time being.

According to SportMediaset though – as cited by MilanNews.it – Milan are indeed interested in signing the former Barcelona academy man.

The outlet claims that Boban has been working undercover for some time with the leaders of Dinamo Zagreb to try and sign the young Spanish talent.

However, there is competition from some major clubs such as Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Manchester United. Milan’s plan B is Roma’s Cengiz Under in a loan exchange with Suso, who has already decided to leave Milan.
