Samuel Chukwueze is really just one step away from joining AC Milan. The latter have reached an agreement with Villarreal for the transfer and the player is scheduled to arrive in the coming days. Below are all the details.
The negotiations took quite a long time, given Villarreal’s initial demands, but a middle ground was eventually found between the parties. Today, Villarreal accepted Milan’s offer of €20m plus €8m in bonuses, as per our colleagues at SempreMilan.it.
Chukwueze will arrive in the coming days and will sign a five-year contract worth €4m per season. Furthermore, Matteo Gabbia will join the Spanish side on a season-long loan. It was a way for Milan to sweeten the deal, even if the two operations will remain separate on paper.
After completing the medicals and signing the contract, likely to take place on Monday, the right-winger will fly to Los Angeles to join his new teammates for the pre-season tour. He could perhaps make his debut against Juve or Barcelona.

Finish the deal with Musah, find another back to play the outside, and sell the players extraneous to the operation. Fantastic mercato. It’s already really good but that would take it to another level.
Honestly would prefer the club to sell players like rebic, origi, saelemakers, Messias and than decide on which midfielder to buy because I would prefer someone with more experience than yunus such as verratti. Maybe Paris would be willing to sell for 40.
That’s fair, but I think the team wants to sign players who are younger than Verratti. Players who will be more valuable towards the end of their contracts than they are now and who will grow with the team.
Right on! Milan is looking to get younger and sign those players to 4-5 year contracts. Those players will have value while still in their prime i.e 26-28 years old.

Finally a threat down the left wing 🙏. I mean I like Salad and Messias when they’re playing well but it’s just not often enough. Messias ballsing up that chance against Inter in the CL was the final straw for me.

With a bit of luck and patience, Chuky will manage to attract Oshimen to Milan for free, given that the two are best buddies. But for that to happen, the project of the new owners will still need to be dream-worthy.
Osimhen will be sold eventually, he’s not going to leave on a free because he’s negotiating a new contract. Napoli will get €100 million+ for him, probably from Chelsea, if they qualify for the UCL next season.

Salemaker is good defensively and good on the ball he sometimes can even score. For the depth we need someone who can provide support to Calabria on the right side. Messias had some great moments too but he is just too old now.
