Tuttosport: Milan player ratings for Fiorentina win – mixed scores despite victory

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan got the job done against Fiorentina at San Siro last night with a 1-0 win but the forwards largely struggled, according to Tuttosport.

The paper (via MilanNews) have published their player ratings this morning, starting with the man of the match Mike Maignan who got a 7.5 for his excellent saves on Beltran and Mandragora.

There are quite a few 6.5 scores among the Rossoneri ranks including captain Davide Calabria, Tijjani Reijnders, Theo Hernandez, Fikayo Tomori and Yunus Musah, all deserving of praise.

Luka Jovic did not convince again and scored a 5.5, but the paper did recall that he played the through ball for Theo who then got the penalty which he converted. Samuel Chukwueze’s also struggled (5) and was described as wasteful.

A 6 was awarded to head coach Stefano Pioli, who managed to secure not only a much-needed win but also a clean sheet despite the many absences he has to constantly battle.

  1. Perhaps we had an eye on the UCL match? RLC was certainly saved for the champions. As much as it hurts, same thing for Krunic. Most likely the mid week game will be RLC, Krunic, Raijnders. I kind of like more Musah in the DMF but he ran himself to the ground yesterday. Cant wait for Bennacer to come back. Bennacer, RLC and Raiijnders is on paper quite solid.
