Tuttosport: Pulisic reliance and Camarda mania – Milan prepare for peculiar clash

By Isak Möller -

Tonight’s clash between AC Milan and Fiorentina will be special in many ways. A makeshift attack will play from start, several key players are missing and the 15-year-old Francesco Camarda could make his debut.

Today’s edition of Tuttosport (see photo below) assessed conditions for the crucial clash. Above all, Milan desperately need to win following a tough month: zero wins in four games, from first to third place and now eight points behind Inter.

It won’t be easy, however, as the Rossoneri have nine absences for the game including Olivier Giroud, Rafael Leao and Noah Okafor. Excluding Christian Pulisic, Milan will have to find the back of the net with the disappointing attackers, namely Samuel Chukwueze and Luka Jovic.

Of course, the Rossoneri fans are excited about Camarda’s call-up, even if the club would have preferred to wait a bit more. At 15 years and 259 days, the striker could become the youngest player in Serie A history to make his debut.

From the first minute, however, it’s Pulisic who will have to take charge. It has been a positive start to the season for him personally, and he must build on that.
