AC Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani arrived at the UEFA lunch together with PSG a few minutes ago and was asked about the potential return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He stated that he would be very happy to work with the Swede.
Ibrahimovic had a two-hour meeting with Milan owner Gerry Cardinale last night and this has fueled the rumours of an imminent return. So much so that Furlani was asked about the matter when he arrived for the usual pre-match lunch ahead of Milan-PSG tonight.
After initially refusing to comment on the matter, Furlani was asked about one of the journalists if he hypothetically would be happy with Ibrahimovic’s return: “Would I be happy to work with Ibrahimovic? Certainly, he’s a great champion”.
