The second international break of the season is underway and now is a good time to take a look at the best goals for AC Milan so far. As you would expect, Rafael Leao is one of our top three picks.
Stefano Pioli’s men have found the back of the net 16 times this season and are sitting at the top of the standings with 21 points. Some really good goals have been scored but there are three in particular that we would like to highlight.
3. Christian Pulisic against Bologna: His first goal for Milan and it was indeed a lovely one. That partnership with Olivier Giroud is something we would like to see more of, but the American has done well even without the veteran’s passes.
2. Ruben Loftus-Cheek against Cagliari: Just like Christian, this was his first goal for Milan and it was a screamer. At that point of the game, it was a really important goal as well and helped the Rossoneri see out the clash with ease.
1. Rafael Leao against Roma: The way he managed to find the back of the net with that finish was simply stunning, almost lying down. It wasn’t his first goal for Milan, of course, but it was his first goal of the season.
Although all three were great, got to go with Leao. World class. Great movement by Pulisic to draw two defenders giving Clabria space for sensational cross. But that finish- WoW!
