Stefano Pioli and his AC Milan claimed three important points against Juventus last night and thus bounced back ahead of the Chelsea return. After the clash, the manager was understandably happy.
Speaking to MilanTV (see video below), Pioli shared his thoughts on several topics including why Milan won the game despite a lack of technical brilliance at times. Now, they also need to look ahead and prepare for Chelsea.
On the game: “From a technical point of view, we played better against Napoli. However, we were fantastic from a mental perspective and in terms of our energy, intensity and determination. We won the game because we were able to fight.
On his situation: “I’m experiencing wonderful emotions. I feel great, including my relationship with the club and the players. I feel great when I’m at the San Siro with these fans. However, we’re still at the start of the season.”
