Watch: Theo Hernandez opens scoring for Milan vs. Verona after solo run

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan had been knocking on the door for the entirety of the first half against Hellas Verona, and they managed to get themselves in front just before the whistle.

Just over a minute before the break, Milan finally took one of their chances. There was an element of fortune about it as Theo got to the byline and just about kept the ball in play, taking advantage of a ricochet to then poke the ball past the onrushing goalkeeper from close range.

  1. There’s a lot of luck involved in that goal but Theo’s stubbornness and skill also have a big influence. Well deserved goal tbh, we absolutely controlled the game.

But why did he got carded? Verona coach also get carded. Did they got involved in argument or what?

  2. Jeebers. I think Kalulu was hurt in first half.

Theo was lucky sure. And Ok4 and Puli were unlucky. Balance

  3. He’s so good it’s crazy, if we can’t extend his contract there’ll be clubs throwing huge offers at him in summer. This was only a couple of minutes after another full length field run.
