With rumours still rife that Fiorentina and Napoli are pursuing Luca Cigarini, Atalanta have turned their attention to a pair of AC Milan midfielders.
According to L’Eco di Bergamo, La Dea will try for Jose Mauri to solve their midfield depth, while it is also possible that they will go after Antonio Nocerino.
Both midfielders have struggled for game time at Milan this season, with Nocerino deemed not good enough and Mauri too young to make an impact despite the calls of Rossoneri fans.
With the market strategy of Galliani, it seems Milan have to offload players in order to sign more, especially in the midfield. This could prove to be a beneficial situation for them.
