Tammy Abraham has been a perfect definition of a bit-part player this season for AC Milan, ready when needed, yet favoured rarely. Despite this, the Rossoneri have taken a liking to the player.
This summer, Abraham’s future will be one to watch, especially as there are already teams queuing up to bring him back to England. For Milan though, it is not a battle against the other interested parties, but between themselves and Roma.
As Milan News write, there is a growing idea for the Rossoneri to continue with the Englishman next season. However, there are ‘several essential conditions’ which need to be sorted before a deal can be made.
Primarily, it relies on the finances being reworked. The Giallorossi’s asking price is too high currently, and their idea to lower that includes Alexis Saelemaekers, which the Diavolo are completely against, at least on the current terms.
The next few weeks should shine more light on the situation but the idea to continue is very much there, from the team, the management, the player and even the fans, where the report suggests a ‘large part’ want him to stay.
To convince everyone more, Tammy still wants to add to his tally this season, currently eight goals and four assists.

a season loan with conditions that turn it into obligation wouldn’t be that bad…
keep Saelemakers and give Roma good conditions for him to be bought in 2026.
you save money on Leao sub and Gimenez sub…
put most money in CDM and Ricci!
Central defender. Milan needs leading central defender and also to sell Tomori.
I would actually be down to give Newcastle Tomori and Thiaw for Tonali. Add 28M to that to finish midfield with Ricci (Tonali and Gatusso fanboy…)
Get Coppola and true, leading defender should be found, maybe Antonio Silva, if we stay with Conceicao. (I would only let him go if we can get Conte or RDZ)
I would not give up Thiaw. You can’t be serious. I would give up Tomori and Gabbia in a heartbeat for Tonali but definitely NOT Thiaw. Malick Thiaw has improved and he is our best defender better than Gabbia.
A big no to signing Abraham. I would rather get Rasmus Hoijlund from Man United.
Sign Ederson from Atalanta if we can’t get Tonali back and also sign David Hancko or Hein from Atalanta to replace Tomori.
Get Lucas Da Cunha from Como as a back up for Reinjders. Sign Noni Madueke from Chelsea as backup for Pulisic. He can replace Chukwueze.
Hojlund is easily one of the worst forwards in a top 10 team across all of Europe. He would struggle in Milan.
At the right price, Abraham is a decent bench option. We stil lneed to develop the best out of Santi AND integrate Camarda. So Hojlund would LOVE to sit on the bench, wouldn’t he…
Idzes (Venezia), young & cheap, he shut-down Lukaku & Vlahovic easily
No Ricci please, Milan already buy Bondo for this position. sell Theo and Leao so you can save the money for another hunger players. Theo wants the salary that Milan won’t sign in. Bring back Alexis and go home for Abraham, 15m for striker doesn’t score 10-15 goals / season, I guess it’s too much. Level up bartesaghi and camarda. Buy idzes and sell the duo tomori + thiaw.
In Serie A, he played 972 minutes and scored 2 goals and 3 assists. Salemakers, played 1070 minutes and has 6 goals and 3 assists. In doing so, Salemakers plays offensive guard or wing. They should be exchanged in June.
Saelemaekers has had 13 starts in a system that suits him. Abraham has had 9 starts in a system that doesn’t suit box strikers. Despite that, he has adapted to more of a facilitator.
Anyone who knows football would understand that Saelemakers is having the best production of his career, which is unsustainable. Abraham is below his average production, but his ceiling is much higher.
Imagine, I watched all Milan’s games and remembered all the goals he missed.
15m for who doesn’t score at least 10-15 goals / season, I guess it’s too much…
Rather keep Alexis than bet on Abraham.
“a perfect definition of a bit-part player this season for AC Milan” based of a very view good did in a whole 90++ minut x 22 match? WTF?
