On the 20th anniversary of the victory of AC Milan’s sixth Champions League win, the club have unveiled the font they will use for their names and numbers on this season’s shirts.
To celebrate 20 years since the 2002-03 Champions League victory, Milan have presented a new special font which this season will accompany Stefano Pioli’s team on all the club’s European nights.
The font of the names and numbers printed on the kits used in the Champions League by the Rossoneri players will in fact be different from that worn in Serie A.
In particular, the numbers will feature a perforated design that pays homage to that of the 2002-03 season, but revisited in a modern way.
For the same reason, the colour of names and numbers will be white, compared to the black used for league matches. The official debut of the new font will take place during the first home match tomorrow, Tuesday 19 September, when the Rossoneri Club hosts Newcastle United at San Siro in the opening match of Group F.
Wow! Omg! This management rules!
Is that the next step…while they watch one inter fan hell bent on ruin the status of Milan. Am frustrated
Hey buy more jerseys!! If you didn’t like that inclusive purple jersey maybe you’ll like this one!!
FYI the material used to make this year’s jersey is garbage. Litterally garbage. Puma dropped the ball and used recycled material and you can tell.
If I didn’t make the point. Don’t buy this seasons jersey. You’ll be disappointed if you do.
