AC Milan have announced that they have cancelled all tickets purchased for the ‘Terzo Anello Verde’ – the away sector – of the stadium for the game against Fiorentina.
The papers today reported how there was a frantic rush to try and solve the issue that has developed in the third tier of the Verde (green) section of San Siro because of the risk that in that area of the stadium the fans of both teams – notoriously not friends – will be mixed.
On the official website the club confirmed that did so for reasons of security and public order. The guidelines that were previously put in place by the authorities regarding the match allowed Milan fans to buy tickets in the same section as the away fans, so the rules and regulations have been respected throughout.
However, the Rossoneri have been in constant dialogue with all the relevant authorities in charge and have acted to ensure the health and safety of fans at the stadium Now, they will immediately proceed to cancel and refund all the tickets in question.
