Football Italia write how UEFA have updated their club coefficient rankings after this week’s round of games in the Champions League, Europa League and the Conference League, with Milan benefitting from their third straight win in the UCL.
The Rossoneri could have won by an even bigger margin in the end as Brahim Diaz’s goal was the difference between the two sides on the night, with Stefano Pioli’s men missing a couple of late chances.
Milan have climbed three places up to 36 as a result of their victory, going above Stade Rennais, Braga and PSV, and they have gained 18,000 points this season alone with the run to the knockout stages, which puts them into the top 10 for performance in 2022-23 thus far.
