AC Milan have confirmed that new signing Jens Petter Hauge will take the shirt number 15 after securing his arrival from Bodo/Glimt.
Milan have confirmed the arrival of Hauge on a contract until 2025, while the fee is widely reported to be around the €5m mark.
We revealed back on Friday morning that Milan have been serious in their pursuit of the winger since Thursday’s game against Bodo/Glimt at San Siro in the Europa League, and the operation moved quickly.
Several of the major outlets claimed on Monday night that it was a done deal, with the Rossoneri having supposedly beaten competition from Manchester United, RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg, and he flew into Italy yesterday to do his medical and sign a five-year contract.
In their official statement, the Rossoneri have also confirmed that he will take the shirt number 15, last worn by Gustavo Gomez. However, the same number has also been worn by club legends such as Costacurta, Boban, Ancelotti and Ambrosini.
