AC Milan are getting ready to officially register two players who will join the Primavera as exciting young talents, a report has confirmed.

Calciomercato.com report that Milan are preparing to register a double signing for Ignazio Abate’s Primavera as Leonardo D’Alessio – an 18-year-old right-back – will join from Roma while the 17-year-old Paraguayan attacking midfielder Hugo Cuenca also underwent medical examinations.

Cuenca has already trained with the senior side, and the Rossoneri beat clubs such as Barcelona to his signature.

  1. I’m anxious to see our primavera squad next season under Abate as coach. The coach gave a wonderful interview where he spoke about the objectives of the team and the mechanisms that will be used to obtain those objectives.

There’s so much talent in the youth teams but the primavera has been particularly disappointing, especially last season so I’m hoping for a turnaround in fortunes this time.

I’ve read quite a bit about Cuenca and his overdue signing, which, thankfully has finally arrived but I’ve seen very little of him or D’Alessio so I’m intrigued. Anyways, welcome boys and good luck!
