Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have been forced to reflect as Tiemoue Bakayoko has made a request to them, according to a report.
As reported by today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), Bakayoko has in recent days expressed his desire to continue for another season at Milan. The French midfielder still has a year left on his two-season loan from Chelsea, and he has asked Maldini and Massara to stay so he can redeem himself after the disappointing previous season.
To date, Milan have decided not to make a final call just yet while waiting for the market to evolve. Gennaro Gattuso’s Valencia are following him with interest, but if the Renato Sanches deal were to be unlocked, then the chances of seeing Bakayoko leave would increase.
The Frenchman barely played in the second half of last season with Stefano Pioli often preferring Rade Krunic in a deeper role, and the return of Tommaso Pobega and Yacine Adli from loan may further reduce the space available.
bruh. who’s gonna tell him
His salary isn’t aligned with his performances. Off you guy, Baka!
Damn autocorrect, LOL.
Off you GO, Baka!
Return him to chelsea. He only good if 3 midfield formation like 433 or 352, bad in double pivot
Well if we don’t get CDK – and I do NOT believe we will – we will use Diaz/Adli for CAM and therefore could use a cheap mid in the double pivot – as looks like we aren’t getting Sanches either. So I can see us keeping Baka for depth in the double pivot (Tonali, Benny, Poegba, Krunic, Baka) and playing Adli as CAM – his natural and favored position. With our cheap Ass owners, wouldn’t be surprised if this is the route we go….
