CM: Milan respond to Tomori’s words of affection – work is underway on his renewal

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are in talks with the entourage of Fikayo Tomori over the extension of his contract and there is a mutual desire to continue together, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com recall how Tomori certainly suggested that his desire is to remain at Milan and renew his contract in an interview earlier this week, declaring his love for the club and the city while looking ahead to an important season.

The report adds how there have been ongoing discussions between Tomori’s agents and Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara which started a while ago and may soon come to a conclusion. The centre-back was bought outright from Chelsea last summer for €29m signing a contract until June 2025 with a €2m net per season salary.

However, the Scudetto-winning season showed how Tomori has become an undisputed leader of the defensive department and that is why Milan want to reward him with a contract extension until 2027 and an increase in salary that should reach €3m net plus bonuses.
