A goal from Leao in the second half wasn’t enough to spark a comeback for Milan, who are now seven points behind Inter in the standings (both with 25 games played). In short, it has to be seen as a disappointment. Shame that Maignan’s howler decided so much.

Seems he got it earlier, so he was lucky to escape a second yellow here.

Leao hits the bar but the flag is up for offside. Correct call.
Good chance for Fofana in front of goal! Saelemaekers with a nice cross towards the far post but the Frenchman fails to hit the target.
A Como player is booked too, tensions are running high on the pitch.
Jashari finds Leao over the top with a fantastic ball, and with the goalkeeper way off his line, the No.10 decides to dink it over him and into the back of the net. Great goal!

Before Maignan’s mistake, Como hadn’t really created anything dangerous, so it was all very unfortunate. Milan will need yet another strong second half to come away with all three points here.

Two big chances for Como to double the lead. Milan will have to wake up here.
The Como keeper somehow keeps out Tomori’s shot! Great cross from Athekame and the Englishman also did really well there.
Jesus, that’s a howler if we’ve ever seen one. The goalkeeper tried to play the ball to Jashari but instead passed it straight to Paz, who made no mistakes there.

First shot on target for Milan as Leao tests the keeper with a left-footed effort, but it’s pretty much straight at him.
Athekame tries to find Nkunku at the far post but the cross isn’t quite as good as he would have wanted.
Decision confirmed, no goal for Como.

Actually, no one’s doing bad but on the other hand no one standing out either so far. And I mean the whole team. Maignan, sure nig mistake, but a bit unlucky too because this was really well anticipated from Paz.

scudetto race is over. In truth it was over awhile ago but held out hope. If pulisic is hurt don’t play him …. but to bring him on for 10 minutes? He must be really hurt then.

Jashari was great. I think he can play with modric and rabiot as a starter in midfield. Impressed with his passing range, and running. He is growing.
