AC Milan vs. Lecce: Official line-up – Leao, Paqueta in

By Isak Möller -

In just under an hour, AC Milan will take on Lecce at San Siro. For Stefano Pioli, it will be a very important game, as it’s his first game in charge of the Rossoneri, having replaced Marco Giampaolo.

However, he hasn’t made a lot of changes compared to the line-up that Giampaolo fielded last time out. As expected, though, Conti comes in to replace the suspended Calabria, who received his second red card of the season against Genoa.

Further up the pitch, Paqueta gets the chance from start, which many Milan fans have asked for. Pioli has opted for the Brazilian rather than Calhanoglu, although fielding him on the right, thus changing the dynamic of the midfield.

The Turk, on the other hand, won’t be on the bench as he will start on the left flank. In other words, Rebic is on the bench once more, while Suso starts to the right. Interestingly enough, Leao will play in the middle, which isn’t a huge surprise by any means.

AC Milan (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Conti, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Paqueta, Biglia, Kessie; Suso, Leao, Calhanoglu.
