AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has made a number of changes to the team which won at Cagliari on Saturday for Wednesday evening’s clash against SPAL.

The Rossoneri will be looking to advance to the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia for the 11th season in a row when they host Serie A’s bottom side at San Siro. You can read our full match preview here.

Injuries to Gianluigi Donnarumma, Davide Calabria and Mateo Musacchio means that Antonio Donnarumma, Andrea Conti and Simon Kjaer – making his full debut for the club – will take their respective places.

There are also two changes in the midfield from the XI which won in Sardegna as Rade Krunic comes in for Franck Kessie and Giacomo Bonaventura starts over the injured Hakan Calhanoglu on the left. Samu Castillejo (RM) and Ismael Bennacer (CM) keep their places.

Both strikers have been changed, with the ‘Leabrohimovic’ pairing broken up in place of Ante Rebic and Krzysztof Piatek, with the former starting just his second game for the Rossoneri.

OFFICIAL MILAN XI (4-4-2): A. Donnarumma; Conti, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Castillejo, Krunic, Bennacer, Bonaventura; Rebic, Piatek.
