AC Milan vs. Torino: Official line-up – Paqueta starts first game for three months

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has made one change to the starting XI that faced Juventus on Thursday for Monday night’s Serie A clash with Torino.

Earlier on Monday it was confirmed that Hakan Calhanoglu was not been called up to the 21-man squad because of a muscular problem, meaning a new player is needed to play as a trequartista behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Pioli has put his trust in Lucas Paqueta who is set to make his first start in three months for the Rossoneri following a turbulent January full of speculation about his future at the club and his off-field life.

Supporting the attack will be Samu Castillejo on the right and Ante Rebic on the left, with Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie holding the fort in the midfield.

The back four from right to left reads as follows: Davide Calabria (in for the suspended Andrea Conti), Simon Kjaer, Alessio Romagnoli and Theo Hernandez. Gianluigi Donnarumma, of course, will be in goal.
