GdS: Adli set for loan spell away from Milan to get game time

By Euan Burns -

French midfielder Yacine Adli is set for a loan spell away from AC Milan to a Serie A club or another European league to get more game time, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), the Rossoneri are set to allow Adli to leave the club on a six-month loan deal so that he can continue his development.

Stefano Pioli is struggling to give the former Bordeaux man enough game time to warrant keeping him at the club but there is no desire to sell him on a permanent deal at this stage.

He has only been able to enjoy 114 minutes of action on the pitch in the first part of the season before the World Cup break which means his development is likely to stall if he remains.

A Serie A club is the likely destination although other European leagues cannot be ruled out yet.
