There is a 50% chance of Andrea Conti joining Fiorentina during the current transfer window, according to the player’s agent.
Conti hasn’t featured much for Milan this season in between injuries and being overtaken by Davide Calabria, Diogo Dalot, and even Pierre Kalulu to an extent, at his right-back position.
A number of different sources have been reporting that Fiorentina are keen on landing the former Atalanta man and that he could move there on a loan with obligation to buy deal.
Gianluca Di Marzio revealed on Thursday night’s Calcio Mercato L’Originale (via MilanNews) though that Fiorentina have identified Real Madrid’s right-back Alvaro Odriozola as their new primary target.
Conti’s agent Mario Giuffredi spoke to Radio Punto Nuovo about the negotiation that could take his client to Florence, with his comments transcribed by MilanNews.
“For now, there is a 50 percent chance that the deal will be done,” he said (via MilanNews).
Another club that’s been rumoured to be interested in Conti is Parma. What this means for their interest in Milan’s number 14 remains to be seen.
