From Spain: Agent Pastorello offers centre-back to Milan who could leave Chelsea for €10m

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are one of the clubs who have been offered the chance to sign Chelsea defender Malang Sarr, according to a report from Spain.

TDFichajes write that Sarr wants to leave Chelsea as soon as possible after returning from his loan spell at Porto because he has realised he doesn’t fit into Thomas Tuchel’s plans, with the Blues boss also having already given the green light for the 22-year-old to leave.

He joined from Nice on a free transfer in the summer of 2020 but has played just once for Chelsea and now Federico Pastorello, the defender’s agent, wants to take his client to Serie A. He has already offered him to Inter but also to other clubs such as Roma and Milan, who each want to bolster their reinforcement.

Inter for the moment declined the proposal because they have other priorities, but Milan could choose to pounce as Alessio Romagnoli has still not renewed. Sarr has a contract with Chelsea until 2025, but his transfer fee would not be more than €10m.

It comes after Calciomercato.com reported that directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are looking for a new centre-back who could be a good deputy to Fikayo Tomori from a speed and athleticism standpoint.
