Tommaso Baldanzi Empoli

Agent says Milan target is ‘fine’ at Empoli but admits exit could materialise

AC Milan have several names on their transfer wish list ahead of the summer but only a few of them will arrive. Tommaso Baldanzi is on that list but the Rossoneri would have to convince Empoli, as stated by the agent.

Baldanzi has been one of the revelations in Serie A this season, scoring four goals at the age of 20. Due to his height (1.71m), he uses a low centre of gravity and focuses more on technical plays, turning the defensive midfielders inside out in his No.10 role.

The 20-year-old has been linked with Milan in the last few months and earlier today, Calciomercato.com reported that the Rossoneri, Inter, Napoli and Lazio are interested. The asking price, as things stand, appears to be €20m.

Speaking to TuttoMercatoWeb, Baldanzi’s agent Federico Pastorello refused to rule out a stay at Empoli and made it very clear that they won’t push for a move this summer. Any decision will be taken in conjunction with the club.

“Corsi [Empoli president] said he could stay? We do as well, we’re against staying, quite the contrary. We are fine, we recently renewed. If a different decision is taken, it will still be taken in conjunction with the club. There is a great dialogue with the president and the sporting director,” he stated.

    1. Or Acmilan should try and sign Romain Favre from Ligue one all this players I have listed has similar quality to Brahim diaz

    2. Baldanzi and ritsu doan, who else?
Brahim diaz, marco verratti, lorenzo insigne, alexis sanchez, roberto carlos, and messi? Lets make kindergarten lol

  1. Milan really needs to take a chance with Baldanzi. He is the bigest talent in Italy. If they don’t get him now there is a big chance they won’t be able to afford him later on. He is a left footed AM but i think he can move on the RW as well. Perfect for Milan. And lets not forget he just turned 20 a month ago, and he is already on the same level as Diaz. (Even better then Diaz at shooting and passing)

    1. Well said brother…Baldanzi is Dybala’s heir and if we miss out now we’ll definitely be crying later just like picking CDK > Paulo.

  2. Baldanzi + Frattesi, Scalvini, Parisi and ofc Zaniolo as RW would be a dream
But in my opinion even Dybala as RW with release clause of 20 mil would be great

I don’t know why AC is bothering with Diaz when there is a cheaper Dybala

  3. This is exactly the kind of signing Milan should be making. Italian and a boyhood Milan fan and not that expensive *yet*. Much better to spend money on him than a Loftus-Cheek for example.

    1. We hate italians. I keep saying it until people actually see it. We used to be a team that had a ton of italians on it but still bought from other countries too having an awesome balance but now we default to non italian players every single time. Funny when inter is more italian than milan but that’s the case these days…
