The agent of goalkeeper Alessio Cragno has confirmed that he held talks with the AC Milan management about a potential move.
Monza decided to sign Alessio Cragno from Cagliari last summer, and it seemed to be a clear statement of intent from Silvio Berlusconi’s club and an indication that they were serious about staying in Serie A.
He left the relegated Cagliari to remain in the top flight, but thus far he is yet to make a league appearance for the Lombardy side and Calciomercato.com reported that he is on Milan’s list of potential deputy goalkeeper targets.
However, Ciprian Tatarusanu and Antonio Mirante are already present in the squad and Devis Vasquez is about to sign from Paraguay, so things seem to have gone cold for the time being.
Graziano Battistini – the agent of Alessio Cragno – spoke during an interview with TV Play about a number of his clients and as part of it he was asked about the possible interest of the Rossoneri in Cragno.
“There were some chats with Massara but then they made other choices,” he said (via MilanNews).
