The agent of Filippo Terracciano has insisted that his client is ready to contribute for AC Milan if he is called upon by head coach Paulo Fonseca.
Theo Hernandez was expected to miss the game at the Stadio Renato dall’Ara against Bologna as he must serve the second of a two-game ban. However, the postponement of that game means he misses the game against the league-leaders Napoli tonight instead.

Terracciano is the most natural replacement to take the spot of the Frenchman on the left side of the defence. The Italian got the nod against Udinese when Theo served the first game of his ban, and while he wasn’t brilliant he also was not a disaster either.
However, there have been some sources suggesting that Davide Calabria could instead be diverted to the left-back position after his recovery from injury, which would mean Terracciano ends up on the bench.
Andrea D’Amico – the agent of the former Verona man – spoke to Telecapri about how his client is doing at Milan.
“Every high-level match sounds like a final, young players must take advantage of every space that is given to them, especially within a squad that is large in terms of quantity and quality,” he said (via MilanNews).
“Filippo is mentally ready, if he were to be called upon he will give his all, he can play in the centre or on the wing, he has a tactical versatility that is crucial at his age.
“I really like Milan, especially in Europe, there’s a different energy, when the players feel the atmosphere of the international competitions a different spring is triggered.
“They play modern football where not only a few individuals shine, but the intensity of the group becomes fundamental in covering as many areas of the pitch as possible.”
I don’t know if he is tactically versatile, or that he is so bad that it doesn’t matter where you start him.
We can try him as an inverted full-back, maybe that will “invert” his current performances.
Surely Calabria should replace Emerson, especially considering his history of stopping Kvaratskalia. Then young Terraciano can continue his development on the left, I for one am sick of all the stick this kid gets, give him a chance and some support, he’s only 21 and could be a very useful player for us, forza Terra
Terracciano did good enough against Udinese and he is improving. He needs the trust of the coach and I think Fonseca has a plan to help him improve.
Especially since he plays him more as an inverted full back with Pavlovic covering the space on the left.
I still admire Lazio full back Tavares who is on loan from Arsenal. These are the type of players Milan need in the squad. Someone who can challenge the first team players. That will help everyone improve.
Theo would have been more discipline if he knew his position in the team is threatened by someone else who can take his spot.
I’m sick the mediocrity at Milan. There so many talented players out there yet the management is signing sh!t players who can’t even challenge the first team players. That’s why there’s such a drop off in quality when players like Theo is not available.
Versatility without being reliable or frankly good at any one position is udseless… Pick a position and become good at it. Terraciano trying to be a Swiss Army Knife when that tool is only used by amateurs.
