Journalist Alfredo Pedulla has described Dusan Vlahovic’s situation as a ‘serious problem’ for Juventus, one AC Milan could help fix.
With Luka Jovic out of contract and Tammy Abraham’s loan spell expiring, Milan are in the market for a new striker. It might not just be someone to be the back-up to Santiago Gimenez either, because Massimiliano Allegri has asked the management for a top centre-forward.

Vlahovic’s name is the one that has been linked most insistently, both because Allegri knows him from their time together at Juve and because he has a contract which expires in 12 months and there is seemingly no chance of a renewal.
Juve’s Vlahovic problem
Pedulla was a guest on The Italian Football Podcast and he spoke about a number of different topics, from the business of rivals to the carousel of coaches. He also spoke about Milan and their major overhaul this summer, something Vlahovic could be a part of.
“Vlahovic is a serious problem, a serious problem, Allegri likes him a lot, but he is a serious problem, there is a serious problem with his contract, his contract expires on June 30, 2026,” he began.
“So you have just over a year and you can’t ask for 50 million for someone who has a contract expiring in 2026, you can ask for 30, 35, that would be a lot. Unless some English club wants him, you know very well that in England they don’t have the same problems that they do in Italy.

“In Italy they think ‘well but the contract is expiring, I’ll give you 15, I’ll give you 18, I’ll give you 20’. In England if the contract expires and they like the player they also give you 50. It’s a different way, they have a different philosophy compared to Italy.
“He is now with the team, he’s on tour, Tudor is an admirer of his. He already spoke to him but he also asked him to spread the contract over more years, remember that Vlahovic earns 12 million net. 12 million net is a lot, with 12 million net he must score at least 25 goals.
“Vlahovic didn’t want to spread the salary, in the background I always watch Milan because Allegri, who signed him at Juventus for a lot of money, asked for him. Under certain conditions he could be a solution for Allegri’s Milan.”

And pedulla thinks that Milan are going to give him 12 million salary contract ?
Stop fixing Juventus’ problems goddamit 😅
Don’t want this guy – if we need a another striker, get Mitrovic – good price and guaranteed goals..
Bro didn’t Allegri kept him on the bench? I dont understand. Can someone explain?
Yep! I don’t even understand this link
Vlahovic would have to cut his salary by 50%. Not happening. And even then, is paying 6M per year for a ~12 goal average per year striker the right move? Move on please. You can get Lucca for less, pay him less and probably get more.
That’s it , Lucca’s price is almost same like Vlahovic … around 20-25m€.. Dusan has 10G and 4A in 29 matches and Lorenzo 12G + 1A in 33 matches… almost same but Lucca’s selery will be around 2m€ … and I don’t think Dusan will be okey with 6m€ when he is trying to squeeze Juventus with 12m€….Dusan is good striker, but not with that money
This is the dilemma of high wages nowadays. Not even premier league are willing to match them
We already have Gimenez as 1st striker, he will shine this season. and without international games we can use an old backup with quality (someone like Immobile) and maybe Camarda as 3rd or a winger who can do striker as well (Ndoye?)
Even Okafor did well as a backup striker/super sub.
Spending there is a bit perplexing. Immobile would be a nice addition if he accepts a low wage.
We need 1 midfielder if we can’t keep Bennacer. Fofana, Bennacer, RLC, Modric, Bondo, Adli/Pobega is fine for Serie A only and CL qualification. If Ben and RLC stay healthy and improve to their best. HUGE IF. In the CL we would need a better player. So might as well integrate him this year because it won’t be a finished product. Or else it’s 12 for Bennacer, 15 for RLC 25 for Musah. Then why even sell Tijjani?
What is dumbfounding is our defence is weak and we won’t keep our best LB. He was bad this year and not incredible the previous year compared to his best seasons, still a transfer fee and wage packet for a new player will be more expensive than meeting his contract demands. If Theo is gone, we need a 40 to 60 million euro investment there in a Tavares, Eudogie like player. Who knows if they even want to come or for how much. It will be more than keeping Theo.
RB is where we need to invest most pressingly. Salad can be a decent backup for the league. In international play, against top opponents he wont cut it. We need significant spend there in any case.
