The new sporting director will act as a bridge glue the dressing room and the management. He will be a constant and competent presence that was missing before, and that will be decisive in avoiding distractions, drops in tension and internal splits.

You cant really disregard the fact that he was fortunate to have coached Juventus at a time of total domination in the league. The competition nowadays is very different.
Not my choice of coach but I will nevertheless give him a chance to prove himself with us.

What I think is we are in lack of money. So instead of force selling players like Chuku or Musah for a lower price thinking whatever we can recoup…maybe a better option is using them to try and up their value and then selling in winter for a better price. Musah for example needs to be taught where the goal is. Fofana has to be taught how to keep the ball low when shooting and that it’s football and not cricket where you hit a six….
