Amorim offers update on Hojlund’s Man Utd future ahead of Arsenal game: “We’ll see”

This evening, an update has been offered as AC Milan await an answer over the future of Rasmus Hojlund.

Manchester United’s game against Arsenal this weekend could be huge for Milan, with reports stating earlier today that Hojlund’s involvement, or lack of, could seal his future away from the Red Devils. If he is not given a chance for the second game running, it would be a clear sign.

In this case, he would be more interested in a move to Italy, where Massimiliano Allegri is considering phoning the striker to seek his preferences and reassure him of the plans for him in the Rossoneri.

Amorim’s admission

When asked about the situation during a press conference today, United head coach Ruben Amorim was, as expected, rather coy, keeping his cards close to his chest about the weekend’s tactics and then the Dane’s future, as MilanNews relays.

“It’s an additional option [to play him]. We’ll see. We’re focused on the match, and Rasmus is still our player.”

Hojlund remains unconvinced of leaving Manchester, but if he is not going to feature, he will have his mind made up for him.

  1. At this point Milan really needs to make a decision. Theyre going to end up with another last minute panic purchase on the last day of the market

  2. I don’t think we need two left footed players to strike for us this season. We have to find a right footed forward

  3. Just remember, Højlund has been Man U fan since childhood so it is naturally very hard for him to give up on his Man U dream. He has never “rejected” ACM, he has rejected the idea of giving up on Man U.
