Brahim Diaz does not want to return to Real Madrid at the end of the season when his loan deal at AC Milan expires, a report claims.
According to El Nacional in Spain, Brahim Díaz has made ‘a surprising decision’: to continue at Milan and refuse the idea of a return to Real Madrid. Los Blancos president Florentino Pérez wants him back, but the playmaker wishes to continue in Serie A as he feels happy and settled with Milan.
In the past, Brahim stated that his dream was to succeed at the Santiago Bernabéu, but he knows that by going back he would risk not starting most weeks and at the age of 23 he wants is to play every weekend, and not be a mere substitute.
One of the main people responsible for this change in stance is Carlo Ancelotti, whom the former Manchester City and Málaga player is not on the best terms with, given Ancelotti vetoed his potential early return last summer.
Díaz knows that the current Madrid boss does not trust his abilities and as long as he is the coach he will not return, the report concludes.
