Arsenal and Liverpool: Milan gearing up for first week of pre-season friendlies

AC Milan will feature in the first official games of the pre-season next week, taking on the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool in Asia.

After a couple of weeks of training at Milanello, Max Allegri and his players are now ready to take the next step in the season preparations. Indeed, they will be up against Arsenal and Liverpool for their first pre-season clashes.

These are two games, played in Singapore and Hong Kong respectively, that surely will bring huge crowds. The atmosphere should thus be very good for a pre-season friendly, which always helps with making them a bit more interesting.

The Arsenal game is scheduled for 13:30 Italy time on Wednesday, while the Liverpool game will also kick off at 13:30 but on Saturday. In case you missed it, Allegri has named a 26-man squad for these friendlies, as well as the friendly against Perth Glory on July 31.

It’s possible that a few signings could join along the way but as things stand, it’s far from a certainty. Milan and Brighton aren’t super close on the valuation for Pervis Estupinan, there are second thoughts regarding Marc Pubill, the Ardon Jashari battle continues with Brugge and so on…
