Another month has passed for AC Milan, more specifically November, and it ended on a good note as they beat Empoli by three goals to nil. Taking a look at the December schedule, it will be a hectic one for the Rossoneri.

Paulo Fonseca’s men bounced back from two draws with a convincing win against Empoli, conceding zero shots on target. With some important games coming up, it was a very important confidence boost and hopefully, they can continue on this path.

Taking a look at the December schedule, as published on the club’s official website, it will be a hectic month with two mid-week rounds (one Coppa Italia, one Champions League). There will be a short break for Christmas, but nothing that really affects the games as they are scheduled for the weekends before and after the holiday.

Milan’s December Schedule

  • AC Milan vs Sassuolo: Coppa Italia Round of 16, Tuesday 3 December 21:00, San Siro.
  • Atalanta vs. AC Milan: Matchday 15, Friday 6 December 20:45, Gewiss Stadium.
  • AC Milan vs Crvena Zvezda: UCL Matchday 6, Wednesday 11 December 21:00, San Siro.
  • AC Milan vs. Genoa: Matchday 16, Sunday 15 December 20:45, San Siro.
  • Hellas Verona vs. AC Milan: Matchday 17, Friday 20 December 20:45, Marcantonio Bentegodi.
  • AC Milan vs. Roma: Matchday 18, Sunday 29 December 20:45, San Siro.

Apart from Atalanta, we are talking about five games that Milan really should win. Roma have been terrible at the start of this season, while Genoa and Verona are battling at the bottom of the standings as well. Crvena Zvezda have won just one of their opening five games in the UCL, losing the others.

  1. Milan’s remaining UCL games are easy to win. It is in the Serie A that they have to prove they can win on a sustained basis. In particular the game vs Atalanta will give a better picture on how far they can go.

  2. Against Sassuolo put b team mixed with u23 player.
And in all others games he can rotate a little bit because there is enough time between games….
