AC Milan face strong competition in their attempts to sign Christian Pulisic as Lyon have submitted a substantially higher offer, a report claims.
According to The Athletic, Milan made their first verbal offer for Pulisic which was worth €14m, and it is an amount not deemed enough by Chelsea who want a fair bit more in order to part with the winger.
Yesterday, Lyon made their second bid for Pulisic which was worth €25m in addition to a significant sell-on clause that is still being negotiated. The Blues would be inclined to accept such a bid, and are ‘reluctant to let him exit for lower’.
Chelsea are on good terms with the Ligue 1 side after they signed Malo Gusto from them, while Lyon also have an American owner in John Textor.
Pulisic has scored 26 goals in 145 appearances for Chelsea following his big-money move from Borussia Dortmund, and it now seems Milan will have to up the stakes or they risk missing out on another major target.
Let’s get samardzic instead an actual good player
Pulisic is a clear gamble, €15m is more then enough because of his age and technical skills, Lyon are never going to pay €25, the management should stick to their guns.
In the end the decision is Pulisic’s if he wants Milan then let him reject Lyon

Let’s be honest here. Getting Pulisic for 15-18M€ could be nice but paying 25-30M€ for him? Naah, there are better players out there with that price tag. Not the end of the world if we can’t get him for the price we want.
Pulisic can be a great option for milan on the right wing especially in the seri a he can become like prime hazard

People don’t realize that Pulisic has agreed to a 40% wage cut to move to Milan. Chelsea fans are delusional if they think he is going to just do Chelsea this huge favor by agreeing to the same type of deal with Lyon, who finished 7th in Ligue 1 and are not playing in Europe. And that assumes that this story is even true, which based on how it was reported I actually highly doubt. Pulisic is the one who controls where he goes, and he clearly prefers Milan at the moment.
The fact that Lyon is the only other team who wants Pulisic says everything about his level as a player. He is not good enough for top European football and lacks the mentality for a team like Milan. Furthermore, he is right-footed which is not ideal for our right flank
