Athletic: Milan unsuccessful in attempt to sign one of the ‘most promising young players in Europe’

By Ben Dixon -

AC Milan have been beaten to the signing of ‘one of the most promising young players in Europe’ today, as the Manchester City winger will head elsewhere in Europe, according to a report.

This summer, Milan have shared their focus between the senior and Futuro squads, and there have been some exciting signings made for the latter squad, who will eventually make their way into the senior side.

Therefore, it does not come as a shock that the Rossoneri were interested in young Manchester City winger Joel Ndala. The young winger is highly regarded across European football and is deemed as being among the most exciting talents in Europe.

Currently playing for the Citizens, the player is ready for regular senior football, which his current club cannot offer. Therefore, he will leave, per reports from The Athletic.

According to David Ornstein’s report, the winger will head to the Netherlands, where he will join PSV – initially on loan, and if certain criteria are met, the move will be made permanent for €7 million, but it could rise to €10m.

City will keep a keen eye on the youngster, though, and they have ‘clauses’ that enable them to buy him back later, or earn a ‘significant percentage’ of a sale away from his new club.

It could have been different, though, as the report states that PSV beat ‘several suitors’ including the Diavolo, suggesting that there were attempts made to land the player.

    1. Right wing nationalist much???

Don’t care what nationality someone is nor their color nor religion or creed – just care they are good enough to help us win.

Everything else just sounds like a whiny bigoted 🤡🤡

  1. We will not fill the team with Italian players who don’t deserve to be in the club just because they are Italian. If foreign players deserve to be in the team I will warmly welcome them.

    1. We are not internazionale, and this whole team of foreigners is doing so well for us isn’t it ?? They really try hard for the cause and win us lots of trophies ??!!

      1. Inter starting lineup is half Italian. Their defence only has Pavard, everyone else Italian. + Barella and a few more on the bench. And they win titles.

    2. Yes, this is the way to go. I suggest also Italy removes Italians and finds some cheap workforce in Asia and Africa. Right? What do you need Italians in Italy for? 😀 The point is that Milan has NO Italian players, almost none. And there are good players.

    3. “We will not fill the team with Italian players who don’t deserve to be in the club”
then who Italian players who deserve?
those who deserve play for Milan, do u think this board can/ willing to try buy?
if they can’t buy them, do u think the board/ owner deserve to run Milan?

  2. it’s not about having italians it’s about having and buying quality players which ac milan is not willing to do check real madrid they have only 1 spanish player on their starting xi and they winning ucl la liga etc
